This Privacy Policy explains how myAcademio ("we", "us"), a product of NoteXpress, collects, uses, and safeguards information when an institute, its staff, students or guardians use our application and website.
1. Information We Collect
- Institute & account data: institute name, address, contact details, logo and the login credentials of administrators and staff.
- Student & academic data: student records, attendance, marks, fees and related information entered by the institute.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as device type and log data used to keep the service secure and reliable.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information solely to provide and improve the service — to operate institute management features, process fee payments, generate reports and documents, and provide support. We do not sell personal data.
3. Data Storage & Security
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (including Supabase) with access controls and encryption in transit. The institute is the owner ("data controller") of the student data it enters; myAcademio acts as a processor on the institute's behalf.
4. Payments
Online fee payments are processed by third-party payment gateways (such as Razorpay). We do not store full card details on our servers.
5. Sharing
We share information only with service providers needed to run the platform, or where required by law. We never share institute or student data for advertising.
6. Your Rights
Institutes and individuals may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for legal or accounting reasons.
7. Children's Data
Student records are entered and controlled by the institute and guardians. We process this data only to provide the service to the institute.

We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
